Discipleship for Children at SPC
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Romans 12:1
Helping our children begin the race well by laying a firm foundation for faith in Jesus is one of SPC’s top priorities. We do everything we can to crate a safe and secure environment, build relational trust, and teach eternal truth. Jennie Ray, Zac Collins, and many teams of committed adults and teens devote themselves to caring for and commending faith in Christ to our kids. These teams can always use your help. Contact Jennie Ray at 272-8111.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP | SUNDAYS AT 8:30 & 11:00 AM
Children are always welcome to worship with their families at SPC. Children’s Worship is designed to help them transition from the nursery to worship. Each Sunday after the Children’s Sermon, the three to six year-olds are invited to go with the Children’s Worship Team to Rooms 114 and 116 for a time of singing, Bible lessons, crafts, and getting their wiggles out. (Parents may join them.) The children rejoin their families during the closing hymn.
SUNDAY SCHOOL | SUNDAYS FROM 9:45 TO 10:45 AM
Teaching children – from 2 years old through 5th grade – Bible lessons from Children Desiring God designed to commend faith in Jesus and promote basic Biblical literacy. Our gifted teaching teams are very relationship oriented and experienced.
CAT CLUBS | WEDNESDAYS FROM 6:30 TO 8:00 PM (From September to June)
Building faith in Jesus one answer at a time. CAT Clubs are one of SPC’s discipleship ministries for children. They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 and serve children from four years-old through fifth grade. CAT Clubs have three big goals: Helping kids develop Christian friendships at church, laying a strong foundation for their formation of Christian world-view, and, most importantly, helping them learn to live in the light of reasoned faith in Jesus’ gospel of grace. CAT Club lessons are based on the SPC CAT Club Catechism. Parents are encouraged to help their children memorize, understand, and live by these truths.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL | JULY 28 – AUGUST 1 FROM 9:00 AM TO NOON
