In spite of the alienating social and religious stigma Christ would surely receive, He reached out and, in healing love, touched the outcast…He cleansed the leper. What a beautiful picture of mercy and grace! God made Christ – who never sinned – to become sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
