In the service of your Savior expect opposition and prepare for it. I didn’t say, “Prepare to avoid it” Of course there’s no virtue in deliberately courting the hostility of the world by doing annoying things. Neither is it honorable to barricade yourself emotionally and otherwise against the anger and disdain of your Savior’s enemies. No, accept that some close to you may be enemies of your Savior. Then do as He commanded, “Love your enemies.”
