Exodus 14:11-31 ~ Series: A Way Through the Wilderness ~ April 12, 2009
“When the Hebrews see the Egyptians dead upon the seashore they know it’s an act of God’s judgment. This canyon through the water is a picture of Abraham’s deal with God in Genesis 15 where God walks alone between the halves of the animals to show that He will pay with His life when the promise is broken. It’s the new and living way, Hebrews 10:2 – “a new and living way” Jesus has opened for us through the curtain” into God’s presence. And this is the mistake we make – we forget who has rescued us.”
